My Story

I, Abby Yetter, am many things. I have played many roles, lived a few places, done lots of jobs, and shed and grown several layers of my personality.

I am a white, cis, queer, disabled woman (she/her/hers). I am a resident of Munsee Lenape and Wappinger land (currently recognized as New York City). I am a survivor of abuse, in recovery for multiple eating disorders, and an advocate for therapy, mindfulness, and mental health. I am an Aquarian Millennial. I am married to my best friend, soul mate, teammate, colleague, co- pet parent, and high school sweetheart.

My first career was as a child actor and vocalist. I've spent the last 25+ years studying and working in the performing arts. I still love to perform in shows and sing concerts, but day-to-day I do voiceover work and teach private voice and acting lessons.

The love I have for learning and being a student is something I hope never to lose! After studying philosophy, criminal justice, and African American studies for my Bachelor's, I moved on to less traditional subjects. Through my company, White Lotus Wellness, I offer my services as a Certified Life Coach, Yoga for All, Accessible Yoga, and Embrace Yoga's Roots Certified Yoga Teacher (500 Hours), and a Certified Pause Breathwork Facilitator.

The privileges and challenges I've had throughout my life have given me the perspective and opportunity to do my own learning and healing. Now, I get to guide my students and clients to their own liberation. You, too, can stop people-pleasing, discover your truth, find a new passion for life, improve your craft, unleash your creativity, and achieve the happiness, healing, and balance we are all so desperate to find!
